hotel is much improved and was fortunate that ICONSIAM opened next door making it a great place for a shopping trip. Now that the gold line monorail is up and going its easy to connect to Silom BTS line and into CBD and later on to Sukhumvit (via Siam transfer). Still prefer Sukhumvit Hilton for its proximity to BTS and Emporium/Emquartier

I think you were in the wrong Ritz Carlton if that looks similar 😬 I mean it looks perfectly nice but just your bog standard 4 star hotel in Bangkok.
TBH I actually prefer the Hilton Sukhumvit for room quality, but the location of the Millennium can't be beat.
It would be awkward to keep the camera on phone all night but she it has a lot of class elegance and beauty that is that is mesmerizing I sure hope she is not gonna waste her life not taking a chance on someone
I used to work for Hilton and got an emplyee rate at that time so I did stay there. Only later did I find out I could have stayed in the same neighborhood at Thai hotels for 1/2 my employee rate. It pays to check the various travel websites that is for sure. Learned too late. But Hilton is always a great property. Thx Rob.

The Birds Nest in Sukhumvit 11 is a beautiful spot and worth a look and a few beers. Plenty of Sky Bars to choose from in Bangkok for sure

I used to be a Hilton member and stayed there many times. It's a bit far from the places my local friends would go to, but I preferred it to the other Hilton Bangkok properties. My favorite Thailand Hilton properties in order : Hilton Phuket Arcadia, Hilton Hua Hin, Hilton Millennium, Hilton Sukhumvit, Doubletree Sukhumvit, Conrad Hilton Wireless Road.
I loved the jazz bar at the top of the Hilton Millennium.

I stayed there in 2017. Great place and was pretty cheap. I didn’t get out of the pool everyday. I remember beer was 3 times more price on the top floor

Excellent Rob. I always wanted to try out that place. We would see it when taking a Chao Phraya River dinner cruise. You guys would love eating that buffet….(as soon as Covid goes away). The Labua is fun for a rooftop destination. Wife and I dropped by a decade ago to have a drink on the roof bar because we saw it in Hangover that funny movie. We got there early and funny thing happened when the guy heard we were from california he thought I was in the business….lol…he took us up and gave us a private tour. My wife kept whispering WTF. Nice people. 🙏
