Well, Tom was particularly grating, loud rude and all round insufferable this episode. It’s such an odd choice that he’s kept on and yet Andre wants the channel to grow. There’s no way ME will ever be on par with channels like Nerdrotic with Tom screaming and shouting about stuff he hasn’t watched, claiming he ‘f’ing knew it’ when he gets the VAST majority of stuff wrong (didn’t he predict Avatar would perform about the same as the last Ghostbusters? Or something similar at least..) and interrupts everyone constantly going into the biggest man baby meltdowns when someone mentions it. Oh, and my favourite, which he did this episode again, is when Script gives a critical speech and Tom says ‘yeah yeah, that’s what i was JUST about to say’.

Starting to think "The Watchmen" played their cards right. Oxy scares the shit outta the World, and all countries come together, against an other world threat. In DISNEY Marvel, there ARE other worldly/dimension breaking terrors…but Marvel still has characters protesting their own Governments. Me and my parents liked the Waltons. Sadly Ireland has been a tax haven for allot of American companies for years. I've talked to some a colleagues who Interned with a partner company with Disney. From what she tells me all of these transgender, pink haired feminists that have been hired to all work in hr cannot be fired. Fired for what? their doing their job regardless of their political view. Have they been proven to have been a contributing factor in Disney losing money yes but will they get fired no.
The only way I can see Bob iger firing people would be "ok I regret to inform you it's not working out and we're going to have to let you go". They'll still get paid up until their end date and time to look for another position or if employees are like Jessica how she gets maneuvered to another position.
Bob iger also thought strange world was a success so I can't see iger firing anyone except Bob Chapek.

I can't for the life of me understand why everyone is in love with Sam Raimi. Sure, the guy made Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Dead, Darkman, and Spider-Man all which are great films. But that was way back then.
But then he went and made Spider-Man 3, Drag Me to Hell, Oz the Great and Powerful and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, which are objectively speaking spastic visual diarrhea. His over use of the dramatic zooming, shaky cam, the disjointed tone, etc etc etc. His films now, are the equivalent of visual and auditive Parkinson.
Spider-Man 2 stand in this weird place, where you can see how good he was as a director, and where he started to indulge in the worst aspects of his directing style.
That dude, is the epitome of overrated.

Rick & Morty had two good seasons. Then Adult Swim got in trouble for not having enough fEmALe wRiTeRs, so they forced a bunch of them (Jessica Gao, Jane Becker, Sarah Carbiener, Erica Rosbe etc) onto the writing team and the show went to absolute shit. It has never been good since then.

3:22:29 – Wow, Script was on fire today. Lots of great takes overall but just sticking with the AI generator, with what we have today, it's exactly what was discussed on the panel. It's a good tool to translate ideas from non artists to an artist as way to save time. Though this is most likely just the very early stages similar to early photography or the microcomputer revolution of the late 60's early 70's. If that's the case and we experience an exponential improvement in the technology, this discussion could be very different in years to come. If AI masters individual images in any style and any emotion, then proceeds to film language moving from early single cam, Kuleshov effect edits, single audio sources to more complex camera setups, Michael Kahn style editing and overlapping dialogue, then that's the start of something. When AI can break down the visual nuance between how Hitchcock directed Rope vs Rear Window vs Psycho and apply that knowledge to multiple new films and have those films be structurally well made and entertaining without human involvement, that's when things change for creatives. For now, it's another tool to use and hopefully fans can utilize it to fix film mistakes or create alternative versions.

Funny what Tom said about toys. After hearing this show I happen to be in a TARGET near me and there were Godzilla toys and plenty of Dino toys. I think more DC than Marvel toys. Cool 50s Godzilla there also!

There are screenwriters who are really good writers but horrible to work with…and screenwriters who aren't good writers, but get along great with studio executives, directors, producers…and don't mind having their scripts rewritten by other people (so long as they still get credit)..so they still get work.
All of these excuses are bullshit: Phase 4 was Disneys sequel to Song Of The South, and until we admit everything they do is crazy racist; they’ll never stop.
